Chosen 1 Academy, established in 2021, is dedicated to the holistic development of student-athletes within a nurturing family-centric environment. Chosen 1 offers a variety of program and servicing with post-graduate basketball being the first and serval other programs kicking off in 2025-2026. Our mission revolves around instilling maturity and fostering growth to equip our students for success, both in their collegiate pursuits and beyond.

COA's approach towards athletics is unparalleled. We create a sense of community and family among the players, coaches, mentors, and families. This approach not only fosters strong bonds but also helps everyone to rise and fall together. The athletic programs at COA are diverse and dynamic, which enables the athletes to grow in more ways than just sports. Here, we want to support student-athletes in realizing their full potential while emphasizing player growth and university readiness.

what is post-grad?

A post-graduate program, often referred to as a 5th year or gap year following high school graduation, provides student-athletes with the opportunity to improve their academic and athletic abilities under the guidance of top college coaches and recruiters. The program offers a rigorous daily schedule that prepares student-athletes for the challenges they will face at the college level. Understanding that each student-athlete has different objectives, goals, and abilities, COA’s experienced and dedicated coaches work hard to ensure that each student-athlete has the best opportunity for success.
